Review

We’ve kept this 10.1-inch Frameo frame running for more than a year and it has turned into the family bulletin board. The 1280x800 IPS panel still looks punchy from across the room, and the 32GB of internal storage—plus a 128GB microSD card—now holds roughly 18,000 photos without forced pruning. Relatives push snapshots and 15-second clips through the Frameo app; most appear within 10–20 seconds and longer uploads queue cleanly when the network is busy. Auto-rotate keeps portrait shots upright when we pivot the stand, the touch UI is simple enough that my parents add captions themselves, and the morning slideshow schedule we set in Frameo’s settings has fired reliably. It remains limited to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and needs constant AC power, and ultra-wide smartphone shots can show thin black bars unless you crop, but for a hands-off way to keep the photo stream current this frame has been rock solid.

✓ Pros

  • 1280x800 IPS touch display stays vivid even off-axis
  • 32GB internal storage plus microSD expansion holds massive libraries
  • Frameo app pushes photos and 15-second videos from anywhere in seconds
  • Auto-rotate and schedule controls keep slideshows hands-off
  • Simple capacitive touch interface works for less techy relatives
  • Slim bezel design blends into kitchen counters or bookshelves

✗ Cons

  • Limited to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and requires constant AC power
  • Ultra-wide or vertical shots can pillarbox unless you crop
  • Uploads pause briefly when the home network is saturated
