Review

This 79QT BODEGA M75 has been our rolling pantry for the last two overlanding seasons. The dual 48QT and 30QT chambers keep frozen food and produce isolated, the aluminum chassis shrugs off washboard forest roads, and the vibration dampers keep the compressor under 45 dB even in a rooftop tent. In MAX mode the empty cabinet hits -4°F in roughly 15 minutes; once camped I switch to ECO so our 200Ah lithium bank barely notices the pull while the three-stage cutoff guards the starter battery. The Bluetooth app lets us adjust temps or swap a zone to fridge duty without climbing into the truck bed, and the claimed 24-hour insulation window has held true—food stayed safe during a quick day hike when we powered down. A 51 lb empty weight plus a full load of 130 cans absolutely requires two people, and you need reliable 12/24V power planning, but for multi-day trips or long tailgates this fridge has been reliable and rock solid.

✓ Pros

  • Dual 48QT/30QT chambers let you run fridge and freezer independently
  • Turbo compressor hits -4°F quickly, ECO mode extends runtime off-grid
  • Three-stage low-voltage protection guards 12/24V batteries
  • Aluminum chassis and polymer dampers shrug off washboard roads
  • Bluetooth app makes checking temps and switching zone roles painless
  • Ships with both 12/24V DC and 100-240V AC adapters

✗ Cons

  • 51 lb empty weight becomes a two-person lift when fully stocked
  • Demands reliable 12/24V power planning on longer stays
  • Priced higher than smaller single-zone portable fridges
