Review

The Phone (3) is the first Nothing handset that genuinely feels like a flagship I can daily. The 6.67-inch 1260p AMOLED panel is bright enough for Phoenix sun, the adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate stays smooth without wrecking battery life, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 absolutely tears through my Android build pipeline. That new Glyph Matrix is more than a party trick; I mapped build statuses and calendar nudges to the dot matrix and the new Glyph Button makes quick-tap automations painless. Battery life is another highlight—Nothing's 5,150 mAh silicon-carbon pack comfortably sails through a 15-hour workday, and the 65 W brick gets me from 0 to 100 before I finish brewing coffee. Wireless charging is still capped at 15 W and the cameras lean on sharpening when the periscope kicks in, but Nothing OS 3.5 stayed light, fast, and free of junk while promising five years of platform updates. This is the first Glyph phone I'd recommend to fellow Android devs without caveats.

✓ Pros

  • Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chews through heavy multitasking without thermal throttling
  • 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED is bright, color-accurate, and easy on the eyes
  • 5,150 mAh silicon-carbon battery plus 65 W wired charging crush daily use
  • Glyph Matrix, Glyph Button, and Essential Key enable automations that are actually useful
  • Five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security patches are promised
  • IP68 chassis with Gorilla Glass 7i front and Victus back feels premium

✗ Cons

  • 15 W Qi charging feels slow next to other flagships
  • Periscope camera leans on sharpening when light drops
  • No mmWave 5G or headphone jack if you rely on either
