Review

I swapped to the tall ErgoFoam last winter and it’s still my go-to footrest for long coding sessions. The memory foam is soft enough to keep ankles relaxed yet dense enough that it hasn’t flattened after a year. Flipping the wedge gives me two heights so I can line up knees and hips whether I’m at my sit/stand desk or the lower podcast table. The micro-suede cover unzips for a quick wash, and the rubberized base keeps it from creeping across hardwood. I routinely use it flipped upside down as a rocker to keep my legs moving during meetings. It does run warm if the room is hot, and there’s no built-in strap to hold both pieces when I toss it in a bag, but compared to plastic footrests the comfort upgrade is worth it.

✓ Pros

  • Flip-to-adjust design offers two heights without hardware
  • Dense memory foam stays supportive after months of use
  • Washable micro-suede cover and non-slip base hold position
  • Doubles as a rocker to keep legs moving during calls

✗ Cons

  • Foam can feel warm in hot rooms
  • No strap to keep pieces together when traveling
